4. Is it ethically acceptable to change a person's appearance like these in a photo? Why or why not?
No, why would you set expectations the models in the photo can't even reach.
5. Are there circumstances in which it would be more ethically wrong to do this type of manipulation?
They are changing the photos to impossible realities.
6. What types of changes are OK, and what aren't?
I think cropping, surprise acne, and lighting is fine to alter.
7. Explain what you think the differences are between fashion photography and photojournalism.
Fashion is selling clothing and altering bodies to try to sell better is wrong.
8. What relationship does each type of photography have to reality, and how does this affect the ethical practice of each?
everyone is raised and grew up looking at these people wanting to be like them but in reality no one looks like that. It can make girls get eating disorders and depression.
9. Why do you think I am showing you these three videos?
To make us more aware in the photography world and to make sure we don't alter our photos.
10. Why are none of these videos about guys???
They make more of an impact about girls because most fashion viewers and people who pay attention to models are girls. Guys can see a model and think she's hot or attractive, but girls can compare themselves and thats where the problem is.
