1. rules of third
2. the book
3 yes it is clear
1. lines and balance
2.the chess match
3. yes but the use of lines make you look around but then get bored so you look back to the chess match.
1. I used framing in this to show only the lower part of the photo and only one face to not have distraction.
2. the phones
3. yes because I cropped it so the phones would be the main focus point.
1. I used simplicity and rules of third
2. The pencil and the face.
3. It is not that clear but I like it that way because in this picture its fun to look around and find other focal points.
1.  I used spacing
2. The main focus point is the book and the her face specifically her eyelashes.
4. Yes because you can tell theres more in the background but its blurred out.
1. I used simplicity, rules of third, and framing.
2. The focus point is his eyes leading to the book and then his hand.
3. Yes because those are some of the only things in the frames.
1. I used the rule of thirds.

  1. I really liked your subjects and the way you captured them. Also, I liked your photo that has black and white a lot because the subject is very clear, and the colors make the photo more appealing and dramatic.

  2. Sophia, you have some nice images here. I will only be grading the first 5 though, FYI. I liked the top image, but I wish he was doing something with the pen, paper, or book. The chess players are interesting...academic? Not sure. My favorite was the students with the phones. I liked the angle and that they were in a genuine moment. The next two were pretty standard images I see regularly with this assignment. Good, and usable, but not "WOW".
