merging

I chose this merging becuase the lines are  eye grabbing and the main center post is that guy saying thank you to the firefighters and the bright lines distract.

balance

I chose this photo because when you look at the photo you feel very balanced and the author taking the view point of the street looking upwards, you feel sturdy and even.

framing

I chose this photo for framing because the author speciffly chose to crop out the skyline to show what the chaos was looking like on the ground. 

lines

This is a very powerful photo of people trying to leave the city and hoping the fence to run out. I chose this for lines because there are many line and poles in the photo drawling your eye to the sign of "welcome to manhattan" 

rules of third

The photo is a very good example of rules of thirds cause you eye gets grabbed to the guy thats coughing, the water bottle and the dusty air. That is because the author cropped it so those important points were in one of the four corners of the grid.

simplicity

This photo is simple because it is zoomed in and not very busy, but by just seeing those names and the roses you can tell the atmosphere and emotions of the event.
